Edward Escobar

Edward Escobar is an experienced health professional with a focus towards providing quality care. He is currently working with Amity Medical Group as a Patient Engagement Coordinator. He began his journey in an independent pharmacy working closely with the community which cultivated his drive to become a Community Health Worker. As a bilingual Latino, he strives towards helping all patients but especially Spanish speakers in the Charlotte area. His goal is to break the barrier of language and make linkage to care much easier by helping to provide access to doctors that specialize in a variety of care such as Primary Care, Mental and Behavioral health and HIV/prep. He also believes nobody should be denied access to care due to financial barriers, therefore he does his best to connect all patients to the multitude of financial assistance programs provided by Amity Medical Group. He believes that working together with the community will make access to health care easier for individuals and their families to live healthier lives now and in the future.
