Terry Benjamin is a dedicated and compassionate Peer Support Specialist since 2007, dually trained in Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders, certified through the prestigious UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine. As a valued member of an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team, Terry brings a unique blend of professional expertise and lived experience to support individuals on their journey toward recovery and empowerment.

After overcoming seven years in active addiction, I am now embracing a decade of recovery and loving every minute of it. My personal and professional experience in Medication Assisted Treatment programs makes me passionate about breaking the stigma surrounding medication assisted treatment. Certified in Peer Support, Mental Health First Aid and more, I believe in the individuality of each person's recovery journey and am committed to empowering others in their unique recovery road.
