Amity Medical Group is committed to providing affordable care to patients for treatment and prevention of HIV. We work hard to remove barriers to care for patients by offering assistance through multiple grant programs. Call and ask to speak to a member of our Grant Department or send an email to grantteam@amitymed.org
for additional information about enrollment for any of the following programs:
Ryan White Program provides access to care for patients with low or no income who are uninsured or underinsured. Services covered under the grant include medical care and treatment in our office directly related to the patient’s diagnosis. Our providers can also help coordinate care for other services if needed. Patients who are enrolled in the Ryan White program also receive assistance from our grant department staff to enroll in programs to assist with covering the cost of medications prescribed by their provider.
Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act Program covers services for our Ryan White patients who have healthcare needs that have become necessary as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Services available include office visits for testing and treatment of COVID-19, Telehealth visits, remote blood pressure monitoring and monthly virtual check ins to reduce the amount of time patients need to spend in the office. Patients who are enrolled in the Ryan White grant program will automatically qualify for these services as needed.
HIV Medication Assistance Program (HMAP) is designed to provide financial assistance to low-income state residents for the purchase of medications specifically used to combat HIV and opportunistic infections which are specific to AIDS.
