Jack Mohan, LCAS-A, LCMHCA

My name is Jack Mohan, and I am the new LCAS counselor with Amity! I have a BS in Management Information Systems from Clemson University and a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University!

While this will be my first full time position in counseling, I had spent the previous year and a half working at Behavioral Health Intervention Center here in Charlotte working mainly with court-mandated clients due to substance related charges (mostly DWIs).

I was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga before going to Clemson. My wife and I moved here to Charlotte in 2021 and have absolutely loved it! I enjoy going to Clemson football games every fall, sadly supporting my (often) disappointing Atlanta sports teams, and I thoroughly enjoy spending my free time with family and friends here in Charlotte. My wife’s name is Juliana, and we have a crazy dog named Ranger!



One interesting fact about me is that I am related to the Hatfield family (on my mom’s side) from the infamous Hatfield and McCoy family feud. I am also in recovery for alcohol abuse, and I am coming up on 5 years sober in April!
