Chad W. Ellis is originally from Charleston, WV, and graduated from Marshall University where he earned a degree in Management Information Systems. After years of working with computers and networks, he decided to follow his dream of studying medicine to work with people and families. He is now a long-time resident of Charlotte, and graduated as a Physician Associate from Wingate University. His background in medicine first focused on asthma, allergy, and immunology. He joined Amity Medical Group to expand his scope of practice in an inclusive culture focused on circumventing healthcare barriers that many patients face. As a provider, his ultimate goal is for patients to experience a true partnership in their health so they never feel alone and can live the life that they most desire. In his free time, Chad enjoys gaming and outdoor activities such kayaking, biking, camping, and hiking.
